The objectives of the mantra of the administration are being vigorously pursued as the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Chigozie C. Asiabaka has commissioned 2 Departmental buildings.
The commissioning of the Department of Dental Technology building and the Department of Optometry building which took place as part of the activities marking the second year anniversary of the administration.
In his address at the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor reiterated his determination to re-position the University by providing adequate infrastructure and facilities that would support teaching and research activities in the University. He added that the administration would sustain the current infrastructural development of the University and the quest for excellence.
In their separate remarks, the Heads of the two Departments, Dr E Esenwah and Dr Ogunbuwale thanked Management for completing and commissioning the projects. They noted that the new buildings would ease accommodation challenges of the Departments.
The Vice-Chancellor was accompanied to the event by Principal Officers of the University, Deans and Directors.
