Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, a 100-level Microbiology student of the University of Benin, who was brutally raped and murdered inside a church in Benin city, has been laid to rest, 6-months after the unfortunate incident.
The burial began with a funeral service at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Province 10, Oduwawa, Benin City.
Miss Omozuwa was buried at the Third east cemetery, New Benin on Friday, 13 November, with family, friends, and well-wishers in attendance. They expressed their disappointment that, several months after her death, justice has still not been served.
