The student community at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri has described the delayed allocation of returning students and "Freshmen" into school-owned hostel as "inappropriate".
The University has called on all her students to return to school since November 2nd, even when the "hostel Potters" are yet to allow entrance into the school.
In self defense, the school hostel management attributed the delay to an ongoing fumigation in all resident hostels in the university. Which is expected to be complete this week.
Reports reaching SchoolGist today informed that the allocation process is now in progress in the school.
It is also worthy of note that lectures are on, and as a matter of fact, any FUTO student that is yet to resume for school is missing a whole lot.
First tests and practicals for various departments have been fixed, class attendance is on, and Industrial Training Defense for the 200L & 400L students has been fixed. Concerned students are to call their course advisers to find out more.
Good luck.
The SchoolGist Team.
