UNN JUPEB Remedial Programme Admission 2014/2015 Announced

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Admission into the Joint University Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) programme for 2014/2015 session.

The programme leads to the award of JUPEB certificate which enables candidate gian Direct Entry Admissions into University of Nigeria, Nsukka and other JUPEB-affiliated universities in Nigeria and other
Universities Abroad.

ELIGIBILITY:
Eligible candidates must possess minimum of 5 Credits at maximum of two sittings in at least 5 subjects (inclusive of English Language) relevant to the candidates desired course of study in the University.

DURATION:
The duration of the programme is a minimum of one academic session of two semesters.

AVAILABLE SUBJECT COMBINATIONS:

Option/Fields
Arts –Government/Literature in English/Christian Religious Studies (GLCRS),
History/Literature/Christian Religious Studies (HLCRS),
Economics/Government/Literature in English(EGL).

Social Sciences– Economics/Government/Mathematics (EGM),
Economics/Geography/Government (MGE).

Management Sciences – Accounting/Mathematics/Business Studies (AMB), Mathematics/Accounting/Geography (MAG)

Sciences –Agricultural Science/Biology/Chemistry
Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics
Physics/Chemistry/Biology

Candidates are to note that the above listed subject combinations meet the requirements (as applicable) for admission into Degree Programmes in the Arts , Social Sciences, Management Sciences and Sciences courses in allJUP EB-affiliated universities in Nigeria including University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

1. Pay the application fee of N15,000.00 through e-Tranzact or web payplatforms.

i. Pay the application fee of N15,000.00 through e-Tranzact payment platform at any branch of Zenith, First Bank, Fidelity, UBA, Diamond. A receipt which contains a receipt number and confirmation Order
Number will be given to you at the bank. (Please note that Bank charges apply and must be paid).

ii. Go to UNN website. (www.unn.edu.ng) and click on “2014/2015 Preliminary Application” and read the instruction carefully.
Create your account by cricking on “Apply Now!” You are to supply valid username, password, email address and other required information.

iii. After creating the Account, login back into your Account with your username and password.

iv. Click on “Proceed to confirm your payment”and enter your e-tranzact Receipt Number.

2. Fill the online Application form and upload your recent passport photograph. The passport must meet the following specifications:
•Colour passport photograph with white background.

•The passport photograph must be recent (not earlier than 3months before the time of the application) and the size should not be more than 100KB.

3. After filling the form, logout and keep your username and password safe.

GENERAL INFORMATION
•Applicants into 2014/2015 preliminary programme are advised to be checking our website from time to time for the actual date of the Entrance Examination and other relevant information.

•All candidates are required to register for 2015 UTME during the programme.

•All Candidates are required to use valid e-mail addresses and PERSONAL Telephone Numbers.

•The forms must be filled and submitted online either immediately or within two weeks of accessing the website. No downloaded or printed copies of forms will be accepted.

•Applicants are to note that 2014/2015 preliminary Entrance Examination hold at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, Campus.

•Candidates are advised to follow the Application Instructions very carefully and ensure they select the Correct SUBJECT COMBINATIONS

Failure to do so may adversely affect the Candidate
