Dear Students, Lecturers, Staff and Fans of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka,
Tomorrow Saturday November 16 2013 will be a great day in the history of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Anambra State and Nigeria in general.
It is a day mapped out for the conduct of 2013 Anambra state Gubernatorial election. It is also a great day as our mentor Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe was born on November 16 1904.
Ladies and Gentlemen, please as you exercise your fundamental human right by casting your vote tomorrow, never betray or spoil the image of this great institution in any form. Avoid all forms of thuggery or election malpractice. Vote according to the dictates of your conscience. Thumbprint by your preferred candidate whenever you receive your ballot paper and if you observe any form of abnormality in your polling unit kindly contact the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC via their twitter handle @inecnigeria and never take laws into your hands.
Finally, according to INEC, voting starts at 8.00am Saturday and ends at 3.00pm same day. Also note that there will be no vehicular movements on the election day, state-wide.
Vote wisely without sentiment and never betray your conscience.
