UNIZIK students stage a massive protest over the prolonged ASUU STRIKE

Following the prolonged contention between the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), UNIZIK students under the umbrella of concerned UNIZIK Students have staged a peaceful protest in AWKA on Thursday (15-10-2020).

The students who gathered at the Alex Ekwueme square Via the TEMPORARY SITE OF UNIZIK , from where they marched around AROMA JUNCTION pressed the federal government to meet the needs of the striking lecturers.

While chanting solidarity songs, some of the students carried placards with various inscriptions such as; “End ASUU strike now,” “ENDSARS,” “ENDPOLICEBRUTALITY,” . The peaceful March was leaded and well-coordinated by all the Faculty presidents and the SUG EXCOS.
