As part of her social responsibility to its environment, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka (NAU) under the leadership of her Vice-Chancellor, Prof Boniface B.C Egboka has set up a committee to oversee the donation of finance and aids materials for the victims of flood mishap in Anambra State.
The flooding which stretches from the riverine area of Anam to ogwuikpele of the State has displaced hundreds of thousands of people,wiped away productive farmlands among others.
The 12-man committee is headed by Ven. (Prof) Benjamin Okeke, Deputy Vice-Chancellor(Academic) and the Secretary is Mrs. Ogonna Nwokeke,Deputy Registrar and ten others as members.Any one who want to donate anything that we help the victims are to meet the above Officers or go to UBA bank in the University perm-site for the Donation account numbers.
