We have nice structures on ground, near- conducive learning atmospheres. The new vice chancellor has through his doggedness raised the rank of the institution to a reasonable extent and isn't relenting in making the institution a great citadel of learning.
We have male and female hostels and recently the
Elmada hostels to satisfy the accommodation and safety needs of zikites.
Our library is about the biggest in west Africa.
We have the Garba square in management sciences and Bakassi. This is were jackers meet and Jack for exams. Trust me you will be intimidated when you visit these places between 6pm and 9pm.
But not to worry, na person wey pass exam, read .
Well, its a good thing to read there cos one is gingered seeing fellow students read.
For those whose mouths are ever busy, we have
restaurants to satisfy your appetite.
You must have heard about the anti-cults. If not,
try wear bangles enter Ifite gate or wear bum shots
attend lecture/ misbehave small, you will understand that the Lord is good.(the fear of anti-cult they say, is the beginning of wisdom)
We have two bus stands on campus- Engineering bus stand and Perm site Bus stand. If you don't understand the word "queue", try ask Google b4 resumption.
We also have Banks inside the school premises. I will rank them according to their potential to serve
the students better- GTBank, Diamond, First Bank,
Access, Zenith, UBA, Enterprise and Fidelity.
Then, we have thousands of lodges whose landlords have sworn to recoup the money spent in building the house in a year at students' expense.
The thunder wey go fire dem still dey do press up.
If you are mummy's boy or daddy's girl,then the
HOLY FAMILY YOUTH VILLAGE" is for you. If you wanna concentrate on your studies, then pick a lodge in Ifite; if u wanna "flexstudy", picking a lodge in
temp site won't be a bad idea at all.
There are so many scholarship opportunities for
brilliant and "indigent" students. Explore the
internet.
During your clearance, you will see many "good
Samaritans". They would visit your class rooms ,hostels and halls. Just be wise enough.
The school is vast in size, that's why KEKEs,SHUTTLES, and BUSES ply the campus. Na #30 per drop in case person wan over charge you cos of your innocent looks.
For the science students, MPH is your converging
point for your lectures, the "Engine" students make
use of the FEG hall. Others, to your tenth O' Israel.
For social sciences' students and law students, you take your GS courses at Garba square.
NOTE: GS is a "MUST" for year one students . It holds every Mondays and Wednesdays from 9am to 12noon.
Well, for those who would not be privileged to gain
admission this year, we have the diploma programme for the art students and Pre- science programme for the Sciences.
