About University of Otago
The University of Otago, founded in 1869 by an ordinance of the Otago Provincial Council, is New Zealand’s oldest university. Aim and Benefits of University of Otago Scholarship Program
- The University of Otago Doctoral Scholarships will provide NZ$ 28,600 stipend per annum plus a domestic tuition fees waiver for 36 months (excludes student services fee and insurance).
- Professional Doctorates (DClinDent, DMA, DBA, EDd)–NZ$28,600 stipend per annum plus a tuition fee waiver for up to 36 months capped at the domestic rate (excludes student services fee and insurance).
Requirements for University of Otago Scholarship Program Qualification
Applicants must usually be:
- Seeking to obtain their first doctoral qualification.
- Candidates must have completed a Master’s degree by papers and thesis.
- Scholarship is open for Domestic and international candidates.
