The University of Manchester is proud to offer awards totalling £300,000 to international students, commencing their studies in September 2022. The scholarship is open to both undergraduate and master’s students. .
Master’s awards
We're offering 30 merit-based master’s scholarships of £10,000 to international students domiciled in the following countries in Africa: Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Egypt, Botswana, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa.Please note the application form will only be made available to students who have applied and received an offer for a full-time master’s starting in 2022.

Aim and Benefits of University of Manchester Global Futures Scholarships
- 30 awards of £10,000 will be awarded based on academic excellence and the quality of your responses in the online application form.
- Scholarships will be awarded in the form of an appropriate discount against published tuition fees.
Requirements for University of Manchester Global Futures Scholarships Qualification
- Applicants for the African awards must have accepted a conditional or unconditional offer to study a full-time programme at Manchester and must submit an online scholarship application form by 19 June 2022. The application form will be emailed to all eligible offer-holders.
- Applicants will be considered for the award based on academic merit and the quality of their scholarship application.
- Applicants must be self-funded (ie not sponsored).
- Applicants for MBA, MPhil, Master of Architecture (MArch), Architecture and Urbanism (MA), Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA), Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Clinical Medicine and Dentistry degrees are not eligible for the award.
