In University of Ibadan (UI), acceptance fee is the first payment to be made by all newly admitted student, this applies to all private, states or Federal universities in Nigeria, It simply states that you as a student has officially accepted the provisional admission granted to you by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) upon meeting all requirements for admission and please note that newly admitted students still reserve the right to either accept or reject the admission.

All newly admitted students are to go through and identify the faculty their course/department falls under and identify the acceptance fee payable.

Please note that upon payment of the University of Ibadan – UI acceptance fee, other charges like accommodation library fee, ICT levy and the likes are also to be paid after acceptance fee has been paid.
