The University of Uyo have emerged overall best in the just concluded society of petroleum engineers (spe) petroquiz competition 2017 at the student technical conference and exhibition (15th edition).
The first round with FUPRE (Defending champions) ended with a tie, but Uniuyo ended up winning in the freestyling round, same with UI.
UNIUYO later defeated UNICAL by 31-19; UNILAG by 48-20 and finally UNIBEN by 54-52.
UNIUYO is d first school to host and win the title and will be representing africa in at the international conference to be held from 9th to 12th october 2017 at San Antonio, Texas, U.S.A.
