According to the Director of Information, University of Uyo (UNIUYO), Godfrey Essien an armed robbery attack on the campus, recently, has forced the school to postpone the first semester examinations.
Essien stated that attack took place around 3:00 a.m. on Monday, February 13, 2017.
He revealed further that the attack would have been more deadly if not for the swift intervention of the university’s security outfit.
As a result of this, the proposed examination has been postponed indefinitely.
