UNIUYO JUPEB ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates are required to have a minimum of five (5) credit passes including English Language; Mathematics and any three (3) other subjects relevant to their course of study obtained at not more than two (2) sittings at the SSCE/WASCE, GCE O/L, NECO and NABTEB. Admission into the programme is usually through a University Screening Test. Please note that it will be a Computer Based Test (CBT). At the end of the programme, successful candidates will be admitted into 200 level in various degree programmes in University of Uyo, Uyo or in any Nigerian University through the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB) provided the candidate satisfy the admission criteria for the desired programme.
NOTE: JAMB Score is not required for admission into this programme. Candidates for the 2024 UTME can also apply as there will be no supplementary application for this programme.
MAJOR COURSE REQUIREMENT
All successful candidates will be required to register for and take the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation
Examination (UTME) into programmes of their choices from the list provided in A to C above.
How To Apply for UNIUYO JUPEB Admission Form
Eligible candidates should pay a non-refundable deposit in the sum of N10, 500.00 (Ten Thousand Five Hundred
Naira) only via the University Portal (https://uniuyo.edu.ng/eportals)
Online Registration and Payment Instruction
Step 1 – You are to visit https://uniuyo.edu.ng/eportals or www.uniuyo.edu.ng (Click on e-portals link)
Step 2 – Select Admission Forms Link
Step 3 – Select e-Form(s) Option
Step 4 – Select Pre-Degree as the Admission Form Type
Step 5 – Enter your Phone Number, Name and Email
Step 6 – Click the PAY NOW button to make payment
Step 7 – Select Bank Option or Card Option
Step 8 – Click on Generate e-Invoice (Bank Option) or Online Payment (Card Option)
Step 9 – Click on Print e-Invoice (To generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Number to make payment at any Bank Branch)
Step 10 – For card option, select the payment type and click On the payment platform displayed, enter your card details and click the “Pay” button
Step 11 – After payment at the bank or via card, return to the portal and click on Login Form Link and enter your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Number generated, to complete your
Note: (i) The same passport photograph used for the online registration will be used during the Screening Exercise and for registration after the offer of admission.

(ii) No complaint of wrong Bio-Data or blank photograph will be entertained after submission.
(iii) Candidates who up-load wrong bio-data will automatically be disqualified.
Candidates are required to come for the screening exercise with the following items:
(i) One (1) copy of the University of Uyo 2024 ONLINE registration form dully completed with the passport-size photograph printed in colour.
Note: Only colour printout will be accepted.
(ii) One (1) recent passport-size photographs on red background (same photograph as the one used for the online registration) with the name and signature of the candidate on the reverse side of the photographs. These should be packaged in a quarto-size envelope and labeled with the candidate’s name and department.
(iii) HB pencil, eraser and sharpener.
No GSM handsets, calculators, four-figure tables or any other extraneous materials should be brought into the screening halls.
Closing Date for registration: Friday, August 25, 2023.
Date for online screening exercise: Friday, September 1st, 2023.

Closing Date For Submission of Forms
The management has announced that the closing date for submission of forms is Friday, August 25, 2023. Applications received after the above deadline will not be considered.
