The students of the Osun State University were on the early hours of Good Friday attacked by armed robbers.
The robbers, who were said to have attacked the private hostels of the students, dispossessed the students of their belongings which included laptops, mobile phones, money, among others.
The hoodlums were also said to have attacked a nearby church that was having a vigil. This made a good number of the congregation who were said to be students to run for their lives, sustaining injuries in the process.
The students as it was gathered have been experiencing such robbery attacks and nothing meaningful has been done about it.
However, the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mrs Folasade Odoro, said that investigation is on-going and the robbers will soon be apprehended.
