It has been brought to the knowledge of the University Management that some students are having issues funding their wallet at a go on the Portal and that such students have had to break the funding of their wallets into batches, thereby incurring additional cost for each transaction.
Our investigations revealed that the students having this issue have either not activated their online banking feature on their card or have transaction limit on their accounts. We would like to put the record straight that this hiccup did not emanate from the University, as the charges from the transactions are not remitted to the University, but go to the banks. We confirm that a good number of students have successfully funded their wallets and have made their payments easily.
We hereby advise students facing this challenge to go to their banks to check their transaction limits for online banking or make necessary inquiries on how their card transaction limit can be upgraded.
