Osun State University, UNIOSUN has expelled seven students for participating in illegal and secret meetings organized by a secret society/fraternity and for being members of an illegal association.
The Osun State University (UNIOSUN) management at its meeting held on Tuesday, 20th December, 2016, considered the recommendation of the Student Disciplinary Committee on cult related activities involving students and consequently upheld the recommendation that the following students be expelled from the University for participating in illegal and secret meetings organized by a secret society/fraternity and for being members of an illegal association:

02 AKANJI Olawumi Sulaiman (AGE/2013/0015; Dept. of Agric Econs& Extension, College of Agric, Ejigbo Campus)

The above students are hereby expelled from the University with immediate effect and are also barred from the Campuses of the University.
Copies of expulsion letters have been sent to the Provosts of Colleges, Heads of Departments, Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Head of Security and Parents of the affected students have been duly informed of this development.
