UNIMAID Post-UTME Eligibility Requirements
a) JAMB Cut Off Mark: Candidates must score at least 140 and above in the 2024 UTME and must have selected University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) their first choice of Institution in their 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination registration exercise.
b) Candidates who did not choose University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) as their first choice institution, but wish to study in the institution are eligible to apply for Post UTME on the grounds that such candidate must have successfully completed a Change of Institution and Course to University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) on the JAMB Portal before the closing date.
c) O’Level Requirements: Both UTME and DE candidates applying for University of Maiduguri are expected to have obtained a minimum of five (5) credit passes in Mathematics, English language, and three (3) other subjects relevant to your course of study that was registered in your UTME.
d) DE Requirements: Direct entry candidates must have relevant A-level passes in relevant fields in addition to purchasing UNIMAID UTME direct entry form
How to Apply for UNIMAID Post UTME Screening Form
Applying for UNIMAID post UTME form is quite simple only of candidates follow the outlined steps below.
STEP 1: The first step for apply for UNIMAID Post UTME form online is for candidate to visit http://putme.unimaid.edu.ng and register for the online screening exercise.
STEP 2: Candidates will be required to pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (2,000) only for the registration including bank charges.
STEP 3: Click on register to create account form UNIMAID website
STEP 4: Fill the opened form to create UTME/DE Screening Account.
- Jamb No.
- First Name
- Surname
- Choose Entry Mode (UTME or DE)
- E-mail Address (Username)
- Password (Must contain Upper Case and a number). Be sure of the password you use.
STEP 5: Click Register Account and a confirmation link will be sent to your email click on the confirm email button and you will be redirected to the payment page.
Payment Options:
- Bank
- Click pay icon
- Print invoice (RRR invoice)
Go to any bank with your RRR invoice and make your payment
ATM Payment Option
- Click pay icon
- Select card type (Master Card, Verve Card etc)
- Enter your Phone No. (that you receive alerts)
- Upon Confirmation, click proceed.
- On unified payment-Enter card details and click OK. Authentication SMS will be sent to your phone
- Enter the OTP number received and click submit
STEP 6: After making the payment, go back and log to the site with your username (email address/Jamb number) and password.

STEP 7: First you will be redirected to course selection page where you will be required to provide the following
- UTME first choice
- UTME second choice
- UTME subject combination
- UTME score
STEP 8: Next you will be redirected to a bio data form. Ensure to fill all the required fields, upload a recent passport photograph, save and click next and at this point, you will be required to provide your O’level results, a maximum of two sittings is allowed.
STEP 9: On the next step you will be required to provide details of previous institutions attended with qualifications obtained. DE students should ensure to provide the grades obtained from any post-secondary school attended.
STEP 10: Next you will be redirected to the documents upload page where you are to upload scanned copies of your certificates and results.
STEP 11: Click-submit when completed and confirm submission and a message “Application submitted successfully it cannot be altered. Thanks” will be displayed on your screen.
Please note that you will be notified once admitted through your CAPS or text message for screening.
