The President of the Stationery Stores Football Club of Lagos, Gloria Adebajo-Fraser, has been appointed by President Goodluck Jonathan to the governing council of the University of Maiduguri.
The appointment is in recognition of her outstanding contributions to capacity building in Nigeria. She is expected to utilize her
potentials and skills to further advance the sustainable development of education in Northern Nigeria.
Mrs. Adebajo-Fraser is married with four children. She is an agronomist by profession and a publisher.
She has served on various Presidential committees for the Ministry of Information, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Water Resource, and the Presidency. She was a PDP aspirant for the National Assembly in Lagos State in 2007.
Mrs. Adebajo-Fraser will be serving with the former Minister for Police Affairs, Adamu Waziri; Innocent Okparadike; and Kashimu Imam, member of the NPA board and a former gubernatorial aspirant.
