UNILORIN to hold first National Disability Right Moot Competition

The Faculty of Law of the University of Ilorin, Kwara State has stated that arrangements are being made to hold the first national disability right moot competition in the form of an ECOWAS moot court.

Dr Onuora-Oguno, the senior programme manager of the disability law advocacy project said this in a statement on Monday.

According to him, a moot court is an imaginary court where law students would be afforded the privilege of arguing imaginary cases for practice.

Onuora explained that the program would be drawn around series of challenges being faced by persons living with one form of disability or the other.

The moot Court is expected to run from the 29th of November to the 3rd of December 2020.
