The Management of University of Ilorin yesterday released a Circular, 22 of January regarding dress code for students.
The management mentioned some dress codes that are/would not be allowed around the school premises, these includes; Skimpy dresses, See-through materials, knickers etc.
But there has been an uproar on social media with regard to some of the dress codes prohibited such as fixing of hair attachments and leaving hair un-packed. As stated in the circular, the intentions of the management is to ensure decency among the students "as mode of dressing is a reflexion of individual character and personality". Do you think this is ideal?
