UNILORIN Confirms The Withdrawal Of A

The management of University of Ilorin, Kwara State (UNILORIN) has released official statement concerning the voluntary withdrawal of one of its student named Jephtaph Abolarin.

The 300-Level Sociology student was said to have written a letter to the school authorities informing them that he will no longer be able to continue his studies in the institution due to the fact that the WAEC certificate with which he gained admission into the institution was obtained through malpractice and going by the fact that he is now "born again", it will be unjust and immoral for him to continue his education using an unmerited certificate.

The University authorities has confirmed this and acknowledged receiving the letter.

According to the university's Deputy Director, Corporate Affairs, Mr. Kunle Akogun, the Senate of the university had accepted the withdrawal letter. He added that the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdulganiyu Ambali, commended Abolarin for his repentance and sincerity.
