The senate of Unilag resolved to take the following actions due to the protest organized and carried out by the students of the institution some weeks back, this included the dissolution the the school's student union goverbment and a compulsory signing of an oath of good behaviour...
Is this really for the good of the students, management or the entire community of unilag?? A lot of people have said it is common in many other schools but few can argue that this is worrisome for the rights of the students to air their view on the actions of the school management; now am not saying its right for students to destroy and vandalize the school property but this gives the school authority the rights to fully enforce any policy they deem right for themselves without actually considering that students have a say in the way things should be run in the institutions today.
What is your Opinion on the matter???
