A University of Lagos (UNILAG) student, Priscillia Eniola Oni, has been awarded a scholarship with 02 Academy by the Future Brand Idol (FBI) for emerging the winner of the FBI 2020 contest.
The contest was designed to discover and breed young creative talents in Nigeria’s tertiary institutions. There were six finalists pitching for the ultimate prize out of several entries from different institutions across the country.
At the final pitch, Oni from the University of Lagos emerged the best among the rest.
Emmanuel Dairo, from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, came second while Faithful David from the same institution emerged third.
Abdullahi Ahmed, the team lead applauded stakeholders in the marketing communications industry for their support in the sustainability of talents in the industry.
The grand juror, Olalekan Akinyele lauded the efforts of the team for their efforts, while encouraging the participants to remain focused and learn the rudiments of skill acquisition and creative solutions to enable them to thrive in the industry.
