UNILAG cautions DLI students/stakeholders against fraudsters/impersonators

It has come to the notice of Management of the University of Lagos that some unscrupulous individuals are going around, impersonating the identity/status of members of staff of the University with intentions to defraud unsuspecting members of the public especially students of the Distance Learning Institute (DLI).

Information at the disposal of the University management indicates that the fraudulent individuals/impersonators are inviting DLI students to pay unspecified sums of money for the purpose of influencing/upgrading their results, course registration and other services that are dubious, nefarious and harmful to the image, brand and reputation of the University of Lagos.

University management therefore assures all students and the general public of open doors/access to appropriate offices in the university for consultations, clarifications, enquiries and information when required, stakeholders are to also note that all official information from the university is also available on the university website, www.unilag.edu.ng/

All categories of students are strongly advised to acquaint themselves with every University regulation and process as well as ensure they commit themselves to hard work in their studies.

The University hereby reassures all students and members of the public that it will continue to adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity in delivering higher education.
