Barely every week once the sudden death of the Vice Chancellor of the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Prof Babatunde Sofoluwe, another lecturer from the varsity's department of artistic Art, Chief Bassey, has died.
Bassey, a senior lecturer school of Arts, was said to possess died in his workplace Saturday night once watching the UEFA champions League final between Chelsea and Bayern Munich soccer clubs.
A high management supply, who confirmed the demise to Daily Trust, declined to allow any details, saying it might be too early to establish the particular explanation for the death.
"Except there's a medical report or a political candidate statement from the management, it should be too troublesome on behalf of me to mention exactly whether or not his death has something to try and do with match or otherwise," the supply said.
Chief Bassey's profile on the University's web site, showed that he has authored and co-authored four books as a Senior Lecturer within the department of artistic Art. outstanding among such books embody, artistic Art, Definitions, Material and therefore the starting, UNILAG within the eye of a visible artist.
