UNILAG Embarks on 2 weeks Strike, ALUMNI drag FG to Court

The management of the renowned and renamed University of Lagos has asked all students to leave the school premises today (30th May, 2012) morning.

Following this directive, UNILAG (MAULAG) will be shut down for two weeks.

As if that is not enough, the school ALUMNI has taken the federal government to court over the re-naming of the institution.

Meanwhile Mr President and the Senate earlier had an indoor meeting to deliberate on the issue, the result of which is yet to come out.
