Attention of the Management of the University of Lagos has been drawn to the unprofessional and unethical activities of some tutorial centres especially as it pertains to the University’s School of Foundation Studies.
The proprietors and agents of the affected tutorial centres are reportedly sparing no efforts at defrauding unsuspecting parents and guardians of Students of School of Foundation Studies.
Information at the disposal of the University’s management confirms that different formats of messages (texts and on social media) are being peddled around and sent to the innocent parents and guardians, offering them promises which are way beyond the reach or mandate of the tutorial centres.
Contents of such messages are untrue, fraudulent, nefarious and harmful to the image, brand and reputation of the University of Lagos as a University of first choice and the nation’s pride as well as the School of Foundation Studies.
Management of the University of Lagos therefore dissociates itself from the malicious activities of all the tutorial centres and warns all members of the public especially parents and guardians of Students of School of Foundation Studies that UNILAG and the School of Foundation Studies will not be part of any activity or scheme which would rip them of their resources.
Management also wishes to announce that supplementary admission for the 2021/2022 programme is on and any candidate who scored 40% and above is eligible for admission.
Parents, guardian of/and prospective candidates can visit the School of Foundation Studies website on; foundation.unilag.edu.ng for any information, enquiries and clarifications regarding the ongoing admission process.
