The criteria for admission into the PGD programme will be as follows.
Educational Qualifications:
- All candidates must have five credit passes at ‘O’ Level, including English, Mathematics, and two other relevant science subjects.
- Bachelor’s Degree Holders: Candidates with a bachelor’s degree from an approved university must have obtained a minimum of a Third-class degree in biological sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, environmental sciences, public health, social sciences, humanities, engineering, and any relevant science discipline.
- HND Holders: Holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) in relevant programs from approved institutions must have obtained a minimum of Lower Credit, such as Community and Environmental health.
DURATION OF UNIJOS POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES
Full-time Postgraduate Diploma programme shall run for One academic session of two semesters. Eighteen weeks (18) of Lectures (Online, In-person or both) and another Eighteen weeks of field practicum/internship, Community engagement and Research Project.
