It is without any atom of doubt, that students have in the past few weeks, complained about the deadline for shutting down of school charges and course registration portals.
As a Union, we have taken note of issues of concern raised by Malabites and Malabresses of reasonable actions, as we have been having series of engagements with the Management of the University to ensure that we deliver on the purpose of your mandate.
On the 11th of January, 2022, the Union had presented the entirety of students with the opportunity to have a dialogue with the Management of the University. a step that has made it easier for us to advocate on your behalf.
We are pleased to announce to all students, that premised on our collective efforts, the University Senate has approved the extension of the deadline for the shutdown of school charges and course registration portals to Monday, 22nd January 2022 and commencement of examination to Wednesday, 26th January 2022
We, therefore, urge all students to comply with the payment of school charges and registration of courses, as we remain committed to working for the best interest of Malabites and Malabresses.
