UNICAL Resumption Date For Fresh & Returning Students 2021 Out

The management of the University of Calabar popularly known as UNICAL has announced the resumption date for both fresh and returning students for the year 2021 following the suspension of the three (3) months strike action that crippled academic activities in various universities.

Most schools have deemed it necessary to fix their resumption dates after the presidential and governorship election but the Vice Chancellor and Senate of UNICAL has after due meetings and consultations fixed their resumption date after the presidential election.

UNICAL Resumption Date for Fresh And Returning Students

The management of UNICAL wishes to inform all academic staff, non-academic staff, fresh and returning students that the resumption date for the continuation of academic activities for the 2023/2024 academic session has been approved by the VC and Senate after an emergency meeting therefore all stake holders are to take note of the resumption date and prepare ahead.

UNICAL resumption date for fresh students – Friday 5th February, 2021.

UNICAL resumption date for returning students – Friday 5th February, 2021.

The above stipulates that both fresh and returning students are to resume on the same date, unlike in the past where fresh students resume one week before returning students.

The management has instructed that students are to resume on the said date as academic activities will begin without delay.

Also, payment of School fees and Registration fee will also commence upon resumption for those who are yet to complete theirs.
