Unical Post UTME Exercise Postponed Indefinitely due to ASUU Strike, No More July 19th

We wish to inform all students that the University of Calabar Post UTME screening earlier scheduled to hold from 19th-20th July, 2013 has been postponed indefinitely due to the ongoing ASUU strike.

The Post-UTME Screening Exercise for Admission into Full-Time (Degree Programme) of the University of Calabar for the 2013/2014 Academic Session has been postponed due to ASUU strike, the New date will be duly Communicated.

The Exercise will commence from 8am for morning sessions and 12pm for the afternoon session and is strictly for Candidates who applied for 1st degree programmes through JAMB, and who scored 180 and above in UTME Examinations.

A release signed by the Registrar of the Institution, Dr. Mrs. Julia D. Omang indicates that Candidates are to come with their 2013/2014 original UTME result slip, showing candidates photograph/programme, HB Pencil, eraser and a ball pen.

The release also adds that candidates are to pay a non refundable fee of Two thousand Five hundred and Fifty Naira (N2,550) to obtain scratch card or electronic pin and such payment should be made into any of the following Banks, Enterprise Bank, Zenith Bank, Wema Bank, FCMB P.l.c and Micro Finance Bank Ltd.

Students should also note that anyone caught impersonating will be handed over to the Law Enforcement Agents. Any Candidate who fails to part take in the screening exercise will automatically forfeit the admission. G.S.M handsets, calculators or any other extraneous materials will be confiscated.
