The University of Calabar has officially announced a modest adjustment in the school fees charges applicable to all undergraduate students at the institution.
In a statement released by Mr. Gabriel Egbe, the Registrar of the University of Calabar, it was revealed that the decision to implement this slight upward revision was reached during an emergency meeting of the University of Calabar Senate held on December 1, 20-23
23.
The adjustment in charges will be effective for the academic sessions of 2023/2024 and 2023/2024, as indicated in the released statement. It further explained that the approval by the apex academic body of the institution was prompted by prevailing economic conditions and the imperative to uphold the high academic standards for which the University is renowned.
Students have been urged by the Registrar to take note of the revised charges and to initiate their registration using the updated template accessible on the University’s payment portal.
For 100L and 200L students, the fee portal link is https://portal.unical.edu.ng, while 400L students and above can use myunical.edu.ng. As for 300L students, they are instructed to pay using the same payment portal as the previous session.
The Registrar assured students that the university’s management has made all necessary arrangements to facilitate smooth payment and course registration processes.
Concluding the statement, the Registrar, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, extended best wishes to both new and returning students, hoping for a peaceful, conducive, and trouble-free academic session ahead.
