The management of the University of Calabar has announced changes to its admission screening process for the 2024-2025 academic session to alleviate the stress for prospective candidates.
According to Mr. Gabriel O. Egbe, Registrar and Secretary of the University’s Governing Council, the decision to cancel the Post-UTME screening was made in light of challenges such as high transportation costs due to fuel scarcity, accommodation issues, logistical concerns, and the prevailing security situation.
As a result, candidates who selected the University of Calabar as their first choice and have already registered online for the 2024 Post-UTME are now instructed to visit the nearest JAMB-CBT center to upload their O’level results.
The University will evaluate all candidates based on their O’level grades using a point tally system for the 2024-2025 admissions process.
Additionally, the registration period for the Post-UTME has been extended by one week. Candidates who have not yet registered are encouraged to take advantage of this extension, as no further extensions will be granted beyond the new deadline of August 31st 2024.
Kindly share this information so other candidates who are not aware can follow suit as regards the new development in UNICAL 2024-2025 post UTME screening exercise.
