The University of Calabar will hold her 28th Convocation Ceremony commencing from Wednesday 11th to Saturday 14th March, 2015 for graduates up to and
including the 2012/2013 session A release signed by the Registrar of the institution, Mr.
Moses Abang indicates that activities for the Convocation will commence with a commemorative 40th
Anniversary inter-denominational Church Service on Wednesday 11th March, 2015 at the Unical International Conference Centre by 10.00am.
The release further indicates that there will be a Convocation lecture on the Topic; “The Role of Religion in National Security” to be delivered by the Prelate Emeritus of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, His
Eminence, Dr. Sunday Ola Makinde, CON on Friday 13th march, 2015 at the same venue by 11.00am.
While the Convocation for the Award of Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates, which will be preceded by the commissioning of various projects, will hold on Saturday 14th March, 2015 at Abraham Ordia Stadium by 10.00am prompt.
Members of the University community, graduands, parents/guardians and the general public are by this announcement invited to attend all activities.
