We therefore use this medium to inform the general public that the management of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) has released on sale, the part time admission form for the 2024/2025 academic session for only suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into her Undergraduate and postgraduate (PG) programmes.
UNIBEN Part-Time Degree Admission Requirements
To be eligible for application, you must meet the following admission requirements;
- The General University Admission Requirements that apply uniformly across the Faculties as well as the Specific Faculty Admission Requirements are displayed on the University websites: uniben.edu
- To qualify for the entrance examinations into the various part-time degree programmes, candidates must satisfy the stated general and specific requirements for admission

How to Apply for UNIBEN Part Time Admission Form
The procedure for the 2024/2025 Central Entrance Examination (CEEE) Entry Screening application is as follows:
Candidates are advised to have a valid e-mail account before starting the application process.
Step 1 – Visit any JAMB CBT Centre to register as a Part-Time Candidate
Step 2 – With the JAMB Registration Number obtained, visit www.uniben.edu Or waeup.uniben.edu
Step 3 – On the UNIBEN.EDU SITE, Select Student Portal; then the Waeup Portal.
Candidates are advised to have a valid e-mail account before starting the application process (Please note: do not use the cyber-cafe’s email).
Step 4 – Click on PART TIME STUDIES APPLICATIONS 2023/2024
Step 5 – Click on Register for application at the top left of the displayed page to proceed.
Step 6 – Provide all necessary information. Note that * means compulsory fields.
Step 7 – An immediate mail will be sent to the e-mail address provided.
Step 8 – Open your mail to get your system generated ID and Password that you will use to login.
Step 9 – On uniben.waeup.org click on ‘Login’ (top right of the front page).
Step 10 – Enter your user name and the password from the mail to login.
Step 11 – To start the application process, please click on ‘Edit application record’ and provide all required information and upload your passport photograph.
Step 12 – Upload a clear 1” x 1” COLOURED passport photograph with red background in JPEG format only. NOTE that the photograph uploaded will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in the University of Benin. FAILURE TO UPLOAD THE SPECIFIED PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WILL LEAD TO DISQUAILIFICATION AND FAILURE/FORFEITURE OF ADMISSION
Step 13 – To pay for the Application, click on “Add online payment ticket” at the bottom of the page, then click on “Pay with Remita” on the top left corner of the page, follow the instruction to pay the application fee with an ATM-Enabled Verve or Master Card from any commercial Bank.
Step 14 – Preview and confirm your information before submitting your application on-line.
Step 15 – You cannot edit your application after submission.
Step 16 – Print out the Application slip.
Note: NO APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION SHALL BE VALID THAT DOES NOT CARRY A JAMB REGISTRATION NUMBER
Candidates may not need to write an Entrance Examination. However, screening will be done on the basis of the O’ Level/JUBEP/Diploma results of candidates. Candidates should go back online two weeks after the deadline for application for their admission status.
UNIBEN Part Time Application Form Closing Date
The management has announced that the closing date for the part time admission application form has been extended to 30th September, 2024.
IMPORTANT NOTE
a) Candidates shall get a message on when to go back on-line to check for the Day, Venue and Time for their examination.
b) GSM phones and calculators shall NOT allowed.
c) For candidates interested in UNIBEN part time exam past questions you can get the question and answer booklet as the cost of One Thousand Naira (N1000:00) from the Central Entrance Examinations Committee (CEEC) Office, Main Auditorium of the University of Benin. Payment is made at the Cash Office, Bursary Department, UNIBEN.
ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS:
- Admission into various programmes shall be through entrance examination to be computer-based.
- The management also announced that some programmes will not require entrance examination as admission into such programmes shall be conducted on the basis of the general requirements based on the Senates approval.
