In view of some of the difficulties our Uniben Aspirants are experiencing in the registration for the 2012/2013 Post-UTME Examination, we have opened this helpdesk to assist them in any way we can.

Please note, this helpdesk is not only for SchoolGist Officials to help others out but everyone is expected to participate in helping others, especially those who have successfully registered for theirs. Your experience is very welcomed here.

Before we start, here are the details of the registration procedures. If after going through this procedures and you still encounter problems, then post a comment and let the community help you out. Here are the procedure;

Only the candidates who chose UNIBEN as First Choice and scored 200 and above in the UTME are eligible to participate in the Screening Exercise.

The University of Benin (UNIBEN) Post – UTME Screening Exercise for 2012/2013 academic session will take place on Friday, 15th June, 2012 and Saturday, 16th June, 2012 in designated centres within Ugbowo Campus of UNIBEN. All candidates are expected to be seated, latest, one hour before the stipulated time for the screening exercise.

METHOD OF APPLICATION


Closing Date for application is Sunday 10th June 2012.

You MUST HAVE A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS to be successful. If you don't, open one, it is free to open an email with google.

The following are the procedures for the 2012/2013 Post- UTME screening application.

- To start your application for Uniben Post-UTME, click here

- Once the page loads up, Click on 'Register for application' at the top left of the displayed page to proceed.

- Enter your first name as written on the JAMB Registration slip, JAMB Registration number and a VALID e-mail address (immediately your login details will be sent to your mailbox).

- Open your mail to get your login details (Username and password) which, you will use for all your subsequent logins until you finally submit your application form.

- Once you have retrieved your login details from your email, click here to re-open the registration portal.

- Enter your Username and the password to login.

- To start the application process, please click on ‘Application record', provide all required information and upload your passport photograph.

- Upload a clear 1” x 1” COLOUR passport photograph with red background in JPEG format only. NOTE that the photograph uploaded will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in the University of Benin.

- To pay for the Application, click on “Add online payment ticket” at the bottom of the page, then click on “College Pay” on the top left corner of the page, follow the instruction to pay the application fee of two thousand naira (N2,000.00) with an ATM-Enabled Verve or Master Card from any commercial bank.

- Preview and confirm your information before submitting your application on-line.

- Print out an acknowledgement slip that contains the screening schedule.

Candidates are to come to the screening centres with the following:

(a) Acknowledgement slip that contains the screening schedule.

(b) Four Figure Table (where applicable)

(c) Writing materials (HB pencil and Eraser).

NOTE that GSM phones and calculators are NOT allowed.

Application website closes by midnight on Sunday, 10th June, 2012 (i.e. all applications must be concluded on-line not later than mid-night of 10th June, 2012). Candidates who pay after the deadline will not sit for the examination.
