This is to inform that the 2021/2022 Second Semester Grant Eligibility Criteria has been released. All University of Abuja undergraduate students are eligible to apply for CUR Grant
A team can consist of 1 to 4 undergraduate students of University of Abuja
Team members must be registered students who are not graduating during the 2021/2022 session
Theproposed research should target 1 or 2 of the thematic areas below:
- Economic
- Prosperity
- Food Security
- Educational Opportunity
- Quality Health
- Climate Change and Environmental Protection
Any other innovative solution to our societal issues The proposed research should be geared towards solving a critical industrial challenge
Grant Process: The team fills and submits Research Grant Expression of Interest form
If shortlisted, the team writes and presents Research Proposal for a grant award Proposals are submitted with Budget and Research flowchart/time frame as attachments
Team defends research proposal before the Consultative Committee
Successful proposals are presented to the Vice-Chancellor and special guests in a Research Day event
Grant is awarded to successful teams
The awardees conduct the research or create innovative project, concepts, services, and products The research findings are presented at the next Research Day event.
