This unending strike by members of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics has caused a lot of delay to polytechnic students in the country. The ASUP should consider this matter before it gets out of control. Nigerians should stop this discrimination against polytechnic education. University and polytechnic education should be of the same level. Polytechnic students spent six years in school for ND and HND programmes including the compulsory one year national service. Where then is the deficiency in their learning?
