The story titled,”300-level students can’t write ordinary letters”, credited to the chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, Ahmadu Bello University branch, is a failure on the part of the nation.
Is it a must for all of us to go to university? Is it all students that are potentially and academically viable to go to university?
These are the products of mass promotion in primary and secondary schools, with a cheating culture in our education system. All our technical schools are dying, as there are no more vocational schools. All schools are producing job seekers, no job creators. The few job creators are not helped financially.
