This is to inform all candidates who sat for the year 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) but couldn’t register or attend the Post-UTME Aptitude Test that was conducted by Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina, that, the institution has approved for the reopening of the registration portal effective Saturday, 12th to Friday, 25th October, 2024.
To qualify for the Aptitude Test, candidates must have selected UMYU as their first choice institution, obtained the minimum cut-off marks and satisfy all the admission requirements for their programmes of choice.

Direct Entry applicants who could not register for the screening are also invited to register.
It is to be noted that this invitation excludes all candidates for the following programmes:
• Law, (LLB)
• MBBS, (Medicine)
• Biochemistry
• Biology
• Computer Science
• Education/Biology
• Microbiology
• Education/Computer Science
• Environmental Management
The Aptitude Test is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 26th October, 2024.

MODE OF PAYMENT:
Eligible candidates are to pay the sum of N2,000.00 (all charges inclusive) for the aptitude test/screening through the payment options provided on the University’s website.
Please note that those who were recognized by the JAMB as physically challenged candidates are exempted from the Post-UTME aptitude test, but are requested to forward hard copies of their credentials to the office of the Registrar.

Registered UTME candidates are to submit the copies of their Post-UTME registration slip, JAMB registration slip, and O’level result (s) at the venue of the Aptitude Test while the Direct Entry Candidates are to forward the copies of their credentials to the Office of the Registrar.
