Further to the approval of the Department of Higher Education for re-opening of the University via letter KTS/DHE/UMYU/247/VOL.XVII/3771; and the subsequent approval of the Management of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University Katsina for the resumption of academic activities in the School of Pre-degree and Remedial Studies (SPRS), the School wishes to inform students and the general public that academic activities had resumed in the SPRS on Monday 26th October, 2020.
In view thereof, students and the general public are to note the following itinery of activities as approved by the Management:

- Completion of First Semester (UTME) 26th October to 23rd November, 2020
- Completion of First Semester (IJMBE) 26th October to 21st December, 2020
All staff and students are expected to wear their face masks before entering the School; and to ensure strict compliance with all other COVID-19 protocols.
