UMYU, Katsina Diploma Programmes and Requirements
Candidates applying for Pre-Degree Programme must possess at least five (5) Credits in Science including English and mathematics at ‘O’ level. The subjects combinations offered in the school are:

- Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics;
- Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics.
Candidates admitted for the pre-degree programme with deficiency must register and pass at credit level the WAEC, NECO or NABTEB exams in the subject(s) they are deficient.
Candidates admitted for pre-degree programme must also register for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtain the minimum UMYU cut off point and must choose Umaru Musa Yar’adua University as their 1st choice.
