UMYU Expels 31 Students For Examination Misconduct

The Senate of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University at its 65th regular meeting considered the report of the Central Examination Misconduct Committee on the examination misconduct cases during the First Semester of the 2014/2015 session.

Consequently, the Senate approved the committee’s recommendations and therefore ratified the expulsion of thirty one students for various examination offences, while one student was rusticated for two semesters.

17 of the expelled students were from the Faculty of Education, five from Faculty of Humanities, seven from Faculty of Natural & Applied Sciences, two from Faculty of Social and Management Sciences while the rusticated student was from Faculty of Education.
