UMYU COVID-19 Prevention Protocols as School Resumes

The Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University (UMYU) management has released the COVID-19 prevention protocols ahead of resumption for the continuation of 2019/2020 academic session.

On behalf of the Management, Senate, and Staff of the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sanusi Mamman heartily welcomes all students back on campus on January 18th after a long period of closure.

All staff, students and visitors to the University are enjoined to strictly observe the COVID-19 PROTOCOLS on and off-campus and at all times.

Regularly and thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water or use a hand sanitiser at Intervals.

Maintain at least 1.5-2 meter (4-6 feet) distance between yourself and others.

Avoid going to crowded places.

Avoid touching the eyes, nose and mouth.

Stay at home and self-isolate when you notice even minor symptoms such as cough, headache and mild-fever until you fully recover.

Wear a protective face mask in crowded places.

NO FACE MASK NO ENTRY TO CAMPUS, HOSTELS, LECTURE VENUES, LIBRARY AND DEPARTMENTAL OFFICES.
