Ui Students Cry Over Poor Electricity And Power Supply

Students of the University of Ibadan have complained, they have been living without water and electricity since the strike between the academic and non academic union started.

This strike was as a result of what the union described as “illegal deductions of pension money from their salaries.”

According to reports, one of the students who spoke to newsmen revealed that the students were always at the receiving end whenever things like this happens.

The student also complained that they sleep in darkness and also attend classes without having their bath.

The institution’s Director of Public Communication, Mr. Olatunji Oladejo, noted that efforts are being made to resolve the crisis.
