The University of Calabar Teaching Hospital invites applications from qualified candidates for admission into the School of Nursing for Basic Nursing Training.
UCTH School of Nursing Admission Requirements & Duration of Training
Admission Requirements: Intending candidates must have five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, not more than 2 sittings from SSCE or NECO. Candidates aged between 17-35 years by November 2023 are eligible to apply.
Duration of Training: The Basic Nursing Training program will run for three (3) years.

Interested candidates can obtain application forms from the Office of the Principal, School of Nursing, University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Moore Road, Calabar. Application forms will be available from Wednesday, March 8th to Friday, May 5th 2023 (Subject to availability).

Selection Examination: The entrance examination will hold on Saturday 19th May, 2023, at Venue: School of Nursing Premises, Moore Road, and UCTH Permanent Site, Calabar, by 8:00am prompt.
Oral Interview: Oral interview for successful candidates will hold in UCTH Permanent Site on a date that will be communicated to candidates that pass the written examination only.
