Two students arrested for threatening to kidnap principals and students in Zamfara

The Zamfara State Police Command has arrested two secondary school students after it was revealed that they allegedly threatened to abduct the principal, staff, and students in two separate secondary schools in the state.

One of the suspects identified as Donatus Ejeh, an SS3 student of Dominican College, Gusau is said to have threatened to kidnap his Principal, Rev. Sister Chinyere, and some colleagues, while the second suspect identifies as Tukur Bashir, an SS1 student had called the school principal of Federal Government College (FGC), Anka, on phone, threatening to kill and abduct students of the school unless he is paid N3 million.

According to the state Commissioner of Police (CP), Hussaini Rabi’u, the police swung into action after getting news of the disturbing threats and the two suspects were arrested after a thorough investigation.
