The first week of the SchoolGist CBT challenge (Season 2) is coming to an end and our winners will most likely emerge from the top 10 at this point.
The results will be gathered by our system at exactly 1:00AM this Monday, and automatically kicking off the Week 2 of the challenge.
For those of you who have been doubting the authenticity of this competition, WAKE UP!
The truth is, your success for any week in this competition starts from day 1. Here are a few tips we think you can use to stay on top and if possible, win at least 1 week in this competition;
1. Do not cheat the system - Some students have tried to exploit holes in the system and try to use it to come out tops in the class. Yes, we manually vet your records as you approach top 5 and we would not hesitate to bring the hammer on you. When we said "smartest", we didn't imply cheating the system.
2. Write as many times as you can - From this week, we can see that the top participants have written up to 200 Free CBT exams this week alone. That tells you what your target should be in a day, if you want to come out tops.
3. This competition is not a do or die - We only devised this means of rewarding students as we approach the end of the year. We also believe that it would encourage you to also learn a new approach to studying.
4. Take subjects that you are comfortable with - Like we said earlier, SchoolGist wanted to give out cash prizes and this was the only way we though would be creative enough to do so. That said, we are not strict on the subjects you intend to use in the competition. It is open to students and aspirants. If however, you are preparing for an upcoming exam, we can only advise you to take your subjects because it will be better off for you than the prizes you would gain here, in the long run.
5. Anybody can score 100% - Including you! 100% on our website equates to 400. But note that we only give you 50 questions at a time so it is very possible to someone to score 50/50 (100%). This is not JAMB where you are given 250 questions so don't complain that people score 400. Try to answer 50 questions correctly and you will make it.
Ok... that's it for now. If there is any more tip, we will update this thread. If you have any tips you can share (especially the potential winners), feel free to help others succeed.
See you at the top!
The SchoolGist Team.
