The Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo State has sacked one of its lecturers in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Mr Ajadi Ojo Omotosho over allegations of sexual immorality with a student in the institution.
In a statement signed by the Registrar/Secretary to the Institution’s Council, Mrs Modupe Fawale, the act of misconduct by Mr Omotosho was embarrassing and had tarnished the image of the Polytechnic.
She said Omotosho’s termination was approved by the Governing Council of the institution with effect from Friday, 11th September 2020 and he is expected to submit all the institution’s properties in his possession to his Head of Department.
